In Buffalo, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across New York do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 3–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (716) 882-0905. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is jtsbuffalo.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 937 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian restaurant in Buffalo and suggests consistent service.
Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Buffalo follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Stopped into JT’s for a drink and a quick bite, but the experience was pretty disappointing overall. Grabbed a seat at the bar, but the bartenders were largely unattentive throughout our visit. To make matters worse, there were a noticeable number of fruit flies buzzing around the bar area. The wine list felt lacking, and the Eggplant Napoleon was surprisingly bland and fell short on flavor. Between the slow bar service, the lack of flavor in the food, and the fly issue, it ended up being a letdown.

JT's on Elmwood is the perfect mix of upscale dining with a relaxed city vibe. The food was excellent, the service was fantastic, and the all around atmosphere made for a great Friday night out. The Eggplant Stack was really good I love the balsamic glaze. The Caesar salad was a perfect portion to share, and the Chicken Alla Vodka was a definite winner. They have a large bar offering an impressive cocktail and wine selection, The two-level layout is a great spot for private parties and events. Online reservations made planning easy. The only challenge is street parking, which can become super scarce in the evening. This restaurant is a perfect place to meet friends, have a date night, or entertain business clients. I will definitely be returning soon!

We went to JT’s for Mother’s Day and had a great experience. The food was delicious, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. Jeff was our server and he was very pleasant, attentive, and friendly throughout our meal. He made us feel welcomed and helped make our Mother’s Day celebration even more enjoyable. Thank you, Jeff!

Went here last n8ght thinking I could get shrimp and grits ,since thats what I googled and it sent me here. Was a little disappointed but only for a bit. As the the whole experience was great. We sat at the bar and were taken care of faithfully. Great service and great food. We ordered crab cakes and roasted beet salad ,both were amazing a must try. Then I ordered fruti de mare which was linguine and shrimp, mussels ,clams with a great sauce and my friend had the Salomn . Both dishes to die for. Thanks for the experience we will be back . It's a stylish place with very good service. Music is not too loud, but after 6 pm on Saturday it's a bit too noisy due to the crowd. You can definitely come here for a romantic date. Steak Tartare Hand-chopped beef, capers, shallots and sweet marmalade of red onion created an interesting mixture of flavors, but it was too sweet. Methinks that some chopped anchovy could make the dish even better by adding some salty notes, but even as it is, it’s very impressive steak tartare. Grilled Octopus Very good and tender octopus perfectly paired with fregula and shaved fennel. Although it was a bit too salty for my taste, but it was really good overall. Filet Mignon Perfect medium-rare doneness - very juicy and tender steak. The mild bitter flavor from broccoli rabe paired with beef and mashed potatoes (also it was a bit too salty for my taste, we even asked to replace it). Cream Brule One of the best cream brules I tried in last couple of years - perfect crust and texture, a nice “degree” of sweetness with very subtle notes of orange. Strawberry added fruit freshness and pleasant sour notes. Conclusion: I really liked the place!
